These are black and white Portraits that are very highly detailed. The Portrait is made up of tiny pen strokes, that will be meticulously hatched out literally hair by hair. .
I carefully place each individual hair in exactly the spot it should go. This process, depending on the breed and amount of hair required, can take 10 or more hours to finish. This is a very intense labor of love and well worth the time and energy. The whole painting comes to life as individual markings are added. I use a professional technical pen with the smallest possible tip size available with only professional quality artist materials to create my art. This provides my work with beautifully dense black lines for just the right amount of shading to bring the Portrait to life. . |
