Please be patient while I get them ready to upload. Thank you. "In all things... Attitude is Everything" Oils OilPastels Oils Dwellers 3' x 5' $2500 Dwellers started off as strickly grass. I was going to try my hand at "hidden images" when I noticed there already were images hiding amongst the grasses. I began trying to define them and make them more distinct. The longer I worked on this painting, the more images I found. Maybe it was the paint thinner, but it reminded me of when you look at wood grain or wallpaper too long and start to see things in the patterns. At first all you see is the pattern, but the longer you look, the less you see of the pattern and the more hidden images you find. Everyone seems to see different things in this painting. Things that even I never did. OilPastels & Colored Pencils Crinos 4" x 6" Sold My husband likes to refer to Crinos as "The Family Portrait". He says it appears to be a father and mother werewolf couple trying to get a photograph taken of themselves and someone off camera is distracting the father at the last minute. Watcher 4" x 6" $90 Earth, Wind, Fire, Water All 3" x 4" Sold This started as an accidental series. I did one image and decided that I wasn't happy with the end result. I stared at it... I stared at it some more... Then I thought I heard it screaming to be made into 2 seperate identities. I listened more carefully. It about burst my eardrum yelling at me. So FINE... 2 images it became! Far be it for me... the lowly Artist to argue with my work. Once seperated, they took on their own distinct personalities. It wasn't until my husband pointed out that "they look like the elements" that I realized they were Still yelling at me. I really Hate it when artwork yells... don't you? This time, they wanted company... the rest of the elements. And thus, a series is born.
